How I disobeyed God the last 7 years
I almost pulled a Jonah - without being swallowed by a whale. Thank you Abba for your mercy. Find out what I did.
Lie:There are many paths to God.
How will you know unless someone tells you the truth? Be not deceived there is only one way to God.
Lie: It’s my fault I was abused (sexual, emotional-mental, spiritual and/or physical).
Abuse is prevalent. It’s time to shine the light on it this lie. Darkness doesn’t like the light. It’s your time to step into healing.
Lie: If I let down my mask of perfection my world will crumble.
Have you seen how many picture filters are on social media? Tons! A filter for every mood. Making the lie of the perfect face even stronger. Break out of the mask. Stop using filters! Let me see the real you. The one God knows and sees.
Lie: I did too many things for God to forgive me.
God see and knows it all. No hiding from Him. No sin is too much for Him. He loves you sooo much.
Lie: No one needs my business, ideas, help, or (fill in the blank)
Your gifts are needed! God’s not finished with you.
Lie: Slay goals and grind on repeat brings me success!
Slay all day and you will have success in life! Not. Don’t believe the hype slaying for position is draining. Let’s lay this lie down to rest.
Lie: Cash, cribs and cars give me power and significance.
Does cash, cars and cribs rule your life? Is your significance built on temporary things that will rust and fade? Significance is found in one person…
Lie: I’m not useful
You are created for a reason. There is meaning to your life. You are no mistake. No one is a mistake.
Lie: I am unqualified.
Let’s take this lie and stomp on it. I think we can call this imposter syndrome, too. You have a purpose for God’s kingdom that only you can do. Be encouraged by these powerful verses.
Lie: My identity is found in my womb
I believed this lie for a long time. I based my identity and purpose on my inability to carry a baby. Jesus keeps reminding me about my identity in Him - a firm identity. Being infertile doesn’t make me less of a woman in His eyes (and my husband’s, too)! Thank you Jesus!
Lie: I need a man to define my worth.
Your worth is not defined by being in a relationship. Your worth is defined by God. Lets kick this lie to the curb!
Lie: I am not significant
Day 4 of exposing captivating lies we can believe. The enemy hates when we know our true identity in Jesus. It’s time to stand up with the power of truth.
Lie: I will never measure up
What lies do you believe about yourself? Learning the truth about who you are will set you free.
Lie: I must grind to be successful
This series will start breaking down the lies holding you back from your calling. The enemy tries to kill, steal and destroy believers from living the kingdom life. Lies are one tactic.
